Basile Angelopoulos is a lawyer with 40 years of experience in tax, commercial, and civil law, and a business owner in Quebec’s restaurant industry, notably operating a chain of buffet-style establishments.

Relationship to HCGM: 

Basile has a long history of serving Hellenism through active contributions to the HCGM, the Greek Orthodox Community of Laval, the Hellenic Canadian Congress, the Hellenic Congress of Quebec, and various Societies. He also served sixteen years as Laval City Councillor, including terms as Council Chairman and Vice-president of the Executive Committee.

Where he wants to contribute: 

He aims to guide a new generation of HCGM leadership by empowering youth, increasing membership, promoting professionalism, ensuring sound financial management, and strengthening all four HCGM missions to secure the organization’s future vitality.
