We will revitalize community spaces—starting with the Grand Hall—through grants, donations, and our “Adopt-a-Room” sponsorship initiative. Renting underused spaces will generate sustainable income and reinvigorate our facilities.
We will appoint a certified accountant as Treasurer and establish a Finance Committee to oversee sustainable budgeting. We’ll launch a community endowment fund, forge business partnerships, and ensure quarterly financial reporting to all members.
We will expand recreational programs for youth, adults, and seniors to promote lifelong wellness. New tournaments, upgraded gyms, and strategic partnerships will help us build a healthier, more connected community through sport.
We will create a Membership Secretary position to grow and serve our member base. New volunteer opportunities, open forums, and a structured benefits program will help us reach our goal of 20,000 active members within 3 years—ensuring everyone has a voice.
We believe in our youth. We will create leadership pathways, support career development, and foster volunteerism through youth-led initiatives. By connecting young people to their culture and community, we empower the next generation to lead with pride and purpose.
We will invest in current programs and launch new ones in music, literature, Greek cuisine, and more. Through cultural outreach and collaboration with Greek and local institutions, we will celebrate and share our heritage—proudly and inclusively.
We will reintegrate Hellenic Social Services of Quebec under the HCGM umbrella. Our focus is expanding access, training staff, and building new public-private partnerships to secure funding and deliver impactful, community-driven support.
We will deepen collaboration with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Canada and strengthen support for parish councils and Philoptochos. Our goal is to expand religious education programs, especially for youth, while ensuring financial transparency and trust in our church operations.
We will elevate École Socrates-Démosthène into one of Quebec’s leading private schools. Our priorities include expanding adult and heritage Greek language programs, modernizing educational tools, supporting teacher development, improving student services, and strengthening collaboration with families and the broader community.
